St George’s town located in the east end of the island is a UNESCO heritage site for its preserved colonial town from the early 17th century and is the oldest English town in the New World.
Learn more about the town at the World Heritage Centre open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm April to November. Only Wednesday and Saturday December to March. Admission is $5/adults, $2/child
Go to the graveyard to see the rich history of the island. You can even find Captain Cook’s heart buried here.


See the reenactment of an 18th century trial from the St George’s Town Crier. It is a free and entertaining event.

Up on the hill on your way to Tobacco Bay, walk through The Unfinished Church.

Started in 1874, this church was started as a replacement of St. Peter’s church but due to storms and parish infighting, it was never finished and abandoned in 1899. There is no charge to walk around the ruins.You can still go to the original St Peter’s church in the city.
There are two beaches in St George’s – Tobacco Bay and St Catherine’s beach.

For those with a nose for perfumes, Lili Bermuda Perfumery will show you how perfumes are created and you can even make your own. Tours are at 11am and 3pm with no reservation needed (no tours on Sundays or public holidays). Or sit in the back gardens for an Afternoon Tea (reservations are recommended) for $35 plus 15% gratuity per person.
