Bermuda

Bermuda is a beautiful island in the Atlantic Ocean about 1,050 km east of the South Carolina coast. It is a self-governing British territory about 40 km long and 1.6 km at the widest point.

There are 9 parishes and 2 municipalities on this island. St. George’s on the east end of the island is the first English overseas town in the British Empire and a UNESCO Heritage town. Hamilton City is the capital city located in the middle of the island.

The population of about 62,000 is the largest of the British territories.
